4. Fold in 1 1/2 cups walnuts and 1 cup raisins until evenly dispersed and divide the batter between buttered loaf pans. Bake for 45 – 50 min or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 min then turn out onto a wire rack to cool to room temp.It is perfect breakfast or anytime bread if u make it right u with thank me later it’s really yummy.

  6. I love this fruit. Around here in Germany, they are mostly only sold from autumn to the end of winter, and never in another way than the simple fruit, mostly imported from Israel, sometimes from Spain.
Good to know for probably finding the dried ones in the web. But I fear, they will be expensive, because they are sold as raw fruit with about 0,80 € per piece.

    Thank you for following 🙂

  7. Great post!! I think I’ve seen persimmons in my grocery store at some point, but since I didn’t know anything about them I just passed them by. Now that I know all the benefits, I’m going to try one next time I shop and see them. Thank you!!

  8. Thanks for this post, this isn’t popular here in Trinidad, but I once saw it in the grocery and no one had a clue as to what it was, maybe that’s why I haven’t seen it since then…
